Hathni Mata

The Hathni Mata waterfalls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in India, are 100 meters tall and surrounded by green carpeted hills with flowers and floras. A scenic beauty of falls and wet breeze with the music of water gurgling and falling on rocks will take you to another world. The Hathni Mata waterfalls are located in Jambughoda, @30km from Pavagadh. It is one of must-visit places in Jambughoda during rainy days of monsoon. The name Hathni was derived by the local tribal community from the rock that looks like a baby elephant in the base of the waterfall. The tribal community strongly believes in the Hathni Mata hence fairs are also held on some occasions, mainly in winter. Although Hathni Mata waterfalls are very popular among youngsters and local communities, due to location and seasonal rush, it is one of many unspoiled jewels of Jambughoda and best waterfalls near Godhra.

Trimandir

The Godhra Trimandir is located 4.5 km away from the city of Godhra (Gujarat), near the village of Bhamaiya, opposite FCI Godown, on National Highway 59.

Architecture :

The temple complex covers an area of 22,569 sq ft, while the temple podium is 10,073 sq ft. The entire complex is surrounded by a lush, green garden and the Satsang Hall on the ground floor of the temple is 15,286 sq ft.
Within the temple, visitors will find the idols of Gods of Jainism, Shaivism, and Vaishnavism (along with Gods and Goddesses from other religions), which share equal reverence on the same platform. The idol of Lord Shree Simandhar Swami sits at the center, made entirely of marble and is 151 inches high.

Facilities :

The Bookstall - Visitors who are interested in finding out more about Dada Bhagwan’s Spiritual Science of Akram Vignan can visit the Bookstall, which is located within the temple. The Bookstall has Books, Audio CDs, DVDs, Audio Books, Photos and much more in Gujarati, English, Hindi, German, Portuguese, Spanish and other Indian languages also.

Festivals :

Festivals like Gurupurnima, Rakshabandhan, Janmasthami, Diwali and Indian New Years are celebrated at the temple annually.

Bhakti Programs :

There is bhakti at the temple every week and during some festivals too.
Once every three months there is satsang with an Aptaputra (celibate devotee of Dada Bhagwan).

History Of Godhra

Godhra is a Municipality in Panchmahal district in Indian state of Gujarat. It is the administrative headquarters of the Panchmahal district. Originally the name came from gou which means "cow" and dhara which has two meanings: one in Sanskrit which means "hold" or "land" and the other in Hindi which means "flow": It means the Land of the Cow. People of Godhra are very festive. Godhra is very well known for its Garba-Festival.

Godhra is widely known in India and internationally for being the starting point of the 2002 Gujarat riots. Statewide religious riots between Hindus and Muslims began after the Godhra train burning incident near the Godhra railway station on 27 February 2002, where about 56 train passengers were burnt alive. It was in Godhra that Vallabhbhai Patel first met Gandhi in 1917 and was subsequently drawn into the Indian freedom struggle.
